Wireless AP is the abbreviation of Access Point, which is generally translated as "wireless access node". It is a wireless switch used for wireless networks and the core of wireless networks. Wireless AP is the access point for mobile computer users to enter the wired network. It is mainly used for broadband homes, inside buildings and inside campuses (the wireless router used in general homes or offices is an AP.) The typical distance covers tens of meters to hundreds of meters. The current main technology is the 802.11 series. Most wireless APs also have access point client mode (AP client), which can connect wirelessly with other APs to extend the coverage of the network.
Wireless STA is the abbreviation of Station. It is a terminal station device in a wireless network and can be regarded as a client. Generally speaking, a device in STA mode does not accept wireless access. The device is connected to the AP node for network access. Communication between devices in STA mode can be forwarded through AP.
When the WIFI module works in STA mode, it can be connected to the wireless network of the router. Mobile phones or computers can remotely control devices with WIFI modules through wireless networks. When the connection is lost and the wireless network is restored, the WIFI module can automatically connect to the access point previously saved and remembered.
As the name suggests, this is a hybrid mode of AP&STA, which means that the WIFI module supports both AP mode and STA mode when working. When these two modes of the WIFI module coexist, it can be used as a STA device to connect to other AP devices, and it can also be used as an AP device to allow other STA mode devices to access. These two processes can be carried out at the same time, so that seamless switching can be achieved through Internet control, which is more convenient to operate.
Extended information: Wifi is a technology that allows electronic devices to connect to a wireless local area network (WLAN), usually using the 2.4G UHE or 5G SHE ISM radio frequency band. Connections to wireless LANs are usually password protected; but they can also be open, allowing any device within the range of the WLAN to connect. W-F) is a brand of wireless network communication technology, owned by the W-Fi Alliance. The purpose is to improve the interoperability between wireless network products based on the IEEE 802.11 standard. Some people call local area networks using the IEEE 802.11 series of protocols wireless fidelity. Some even equate Wi-Fi with wireless Internet (Wi-Fi is an important part of WLAN).
NOVESTOM body cameras and military helmet camera support Wi-Fi AP & STA mode to connect to APP and real-time playback software, making it easier to view the video and live stream in the camera. Meet your work needs.
a. First download the "Lordcam" APP on your mobile phone, then connect the body camera to the computer via USB cable.
